Aaron Stohs, DVM
Dr. Stohs was born and raised in Marysville, KS. He attended Kansas State University where he received his undergraduate degree in Animal Science and Industry in May 2000, then went on to graduate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He came to Drexel in 2006 as an associate, and then purchased the practice in April of 2007. Dr. Stohs currently resides in Louisburg, KS with his wife, three children and two French Bulldogs. Primary interest is small animal reproductive services, Dr. Stohs is a certified animal chiropractor.
Leanna Carpenter, DVM
Dr. Leanna Carpenter is a south Kansas City native and attended the Center School District. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and has enjoyed practicing small animal medicine in the Kansas City area for the last 14 years. She is new to the Martin City Animal Hospital team in 2021, but growing up, the clinic's founder was her family's veterinarian. Dr. Carpenter's professional interests include internal medicine, dental care, and geriatric care. She also has a special interest in feline medicine and has additional training and certification in feline-friendly practices. In her spare time, Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time boating and riding her jet ski with her husband and two step-children at the family lake house. She also enjoys trying new restaurants around the Kansas City area and listening to live music.
